  • Make sure your anti-virus software and firewall are not blocking the Setup Wizard. Try to add the Setup Wizard to exceptions list of your anti-virus and firewall.
  • Make sure LAN cable is not connecting to the speaker.
  • If you have more than one pair of X300A Wireless running in wireless setup mode, Setup Wizard can only randomly connect to one pair in each setup. Try to do the setup one at a time.
  • Check your Wi-Fi network of computer. If you are connected to "KEF X300A Wireless" already, try to disconnect and go through "First time setup" again.
  • If problem persists, please try the wired connection method (details at B8).

D2: I cannot see X300A Wireless from my streaming device.

Please make sure your streaming device and X300A Wireless are connected to the same network. If Amber light is on, please refer to the section "Error Signal" for troubleshooting.
Sometimes unstable network can cause this problem as well, if the above actions cannot solve the problem, try to refresh speaker list.

D3: I have selected X300A Wireless as output speaker, however streaming did not start.

First of all, check if blue light is blinking. If yes please refer to more information at section "H2: What should I do if I see the error signals?".
Sometimes connection between speakers and your device can be lost due to unstable network signal or random settings from your device. To resume connection, re-select X300A Wireless in the speaker selection menu / AirPlay menu, or close and restart music player. However connection drop-out should not be a regular issue, if problem persists please contact your local dealer or service help desk.
If there are no error signals and you can discover your speaker in the network, please be a little more patient. Streaming usually will not start immediately and AirPlay will take more buffering time. If you are playing lossless music formats, it will take a little more time to stream to speakers as well.

D4: Why my wireless streaming was sometimes interrupted?

Minor interruption during streaming is normal when there is weak Wi-Fi signal or heavy network traffic. Heavy streaming workload of your other Wi-Fi devices at home is one of the common reasons for this issue. To maintain quality streaming, we recommend you to avoid downloading and uploading activities during music streaming.
Signal interference by other nearby Wi-Fi devices can also weaken music streaming stability. If it is happening frequently, try to use a W-Fi analyzer app to detect the signal strength and look for a better signal channel. For details please refer to the user manual of your router.
